The new Rear Door Alert system can help remind customers of anything that may be forgotten in the rear seat – pets, valuables, dry cleaning, groceries and more. If the system detects that a rear door is opened prior to driving, and the customer does not open a rear door again at the end of the trip, the system can remind customers that something might be left in the rear seat. Rear Door Alert is designed to be simple, unobtrusive and can be easily turned on or off as needed. It is offered as standard equipment on all 2018 INFINITI QX60 models.

Every 2018 QX60 comes equipped with an advanced 3.5-liter V6 engine rated at 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The engine's Direct Injection Gasoline system – which is also utilized on the INFINITI Q60 Sports Coupe's 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, as well as the powerful INFINITI QX80 full-size SUV's 5.6-liter V8 – provides better wide-open throttle performance and emissions performance (versus a non-direct-injection system). The engine is matched with a fuel-efficient continuously variable transmission. The QX60 is offered in front-wheel drive or with INFINITI Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
The QX60 exterior fully embodies INFINITI's dramatic design language, including signature grille, headlamps, LED daytime running lights and LED fog lights. Other exterior details range from integrated LED turn signals in the side rearview mirrors to attractive 18-inch and 20-inch wheel designs.
