- The INFINITI QX60 takes top honors in the Luxury Crossover SUV category.
- INFINITI's full-sized luxury SUV, the QX80, earns award in the Luxury SUV segment.
- SUVs, such as INFINITI QX60 and QX80, are considered the most satisfying among the truck categories.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – INFINITI adds two more awards to the shelf as the QX60 and QX80 were both named winners in the 2018 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, an industry benchmark for measuring how satisfied owners are with their new vehicles.
"Vehicle Satisfaction Awards provide consumers with insight into which vehicles are giving owners a satisfying ownership experience," says AutoPacific president George Peterson. "AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are unique in their inclusion of importance in the calculations. Not only do we measure owner satisfaction, but we also measure how important each attribute was to owners in their shopping process, resulting in a satisfaction score representative of demanding owners."
The 2018 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are based on results from a nationwide survey of more than 58,000 new car and light truck owners. Based solely on owner input, Vehicle Satisfaction Awards objectively measure owner satisfaction with 40 separate attributes that range from seating comfort and interior quality to driving performance.
Evidenced by the continually increasing sales of trucks in the U.S., trucks – pickups, sport utility vehicles and minivans – are considered much more satisfying than cars, according to the survey. SUVs, such as the INFINITI QX60 and QX80, are the most satisfying among the truck categories.
