Sam Xin is Global Divisional General Manager, INFINITI Brand, overseeing INFINITI's global Brand and Customer Experience, Marketing, Global Product Marketing (CMM) and Strategy teams. Xin joined the INFINITI Global team in Yokohama, Japan, in May 2023.
Prior to his appointment to the global leadership team, he was Senior Vice President of the INFINITI Business Division in China and Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Dongfeng Motor Company Limited (DFL), a joint venture between Chinese automaker Dongfeng and Nissan.
In that position, Xin oversaw all INFINITI operations in China and was responsible for the brand's growth in the world's largest automotive market.
Xin brings more than 20 years of automotive industry experience, having held various senior roles at VW China prior to joining INFINITI and DFL.
Xin holds an EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He also holds a Doctorate degree in Management and a master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Tongji University, as well as a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Zhejiang University in China.
