CHENGDU, China – INFINITI has commenced sales of the daring QX55 crossover-coupe in China.

Anticipation for the head-turning model has been high, since the brand confirmed it would be launched in the world's largest automotive market during the Auto Shanghai show last year.

In celebration of the occasion, INFINITI enlisted the China National Traditional Orchestra for a scintillating performance at the 2022 Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition. Echoing INFINITI's convention-challenging spirit and the QX55's daring style, orchestra delivered a high energy performance and modern interpretation of several classic pieces alongside INFINITI's newest addition to the local line-up.

The QX55's arrival signals a new era of luxury for INFINITI in China, one of the brands cornerstone markets.

"The all-new INFINITI QX55 is a statement-maker, designed to deliver first-class comfort and stand out everywhere it goes," said Peyman Kargar, Chairperson, INFINITI Global. "We are excited that our valued customers in China will soon be able to enjoy it."

With an arched roofline and stunning silhouette inspired by INFINITI's own iconic FX, the QX55 offers buyers in China an expressive and stylish alternative in a crowded segment. The QX55's svelte exterior belies a spacious cabin that features a driver-centric layout. Thoughtfully equipped with features such as a sliding second-row seat that allows owners the flexibility to configure the cabin to match their lifestyle -prioritizing rear seat passenger space or cargo. The interior is trimmed in premium materials including available, supple semi-aniline leather-appointed seats.

The stylish crossover pairs INFINITI's innovative Variable Compression Turbocharged engine with a suite of advanced technologies to deliver an engaging and rewarding drive experience.

"The arrival of the all-new INFINITI QX55 is another milestone of INFINITI in China," says Sam Xin, Senior Vice President, INFINITI Business Division in China. "In addition to the recently launched all-new QX60 buyers now have two stunning crossovers that honor INFINITI's commitment to delivering outstanding products to our valued customers here."
