On the heels of multiple new vehicle introductions, including production versions of the Q30, Q60 and QX30 Concepts – INFINITI is making significant enhancements to its current lineup. Following the 2015 model year introductions of the new INFINITI Q70L long-wheelbase luxury sedan and new range-topping QX80 Limited full-size SUV – model year 2016 begins with a revised version of the INFINITI QX50 luxury crossover.
Along with the addition of 3.2 inches to the wheelbase, the 2016 INFINITI QX50 also features a revised exterior in line with other recent INFINITI models such as the Q50 sedan. Standard content has also been increased, including the addition of a moonroof for all grade levels, and a new Hagane Blue exterior color is now offered.
The 2016 QX50 is now offered in just two models – QX50 and QX50 AWD with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Optional equipment packages have also been revised for 2016, with a new Premium Plus Package added to the previously available Premium, Deluxe Touring and Technology packages.
As one of the first personal luxury crossovers on the market, the new QX50 once again combines a sculpted, elegant exterior design, exhilarating driving performance and an engaging interior environment. Each comes equipped with a standard 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 – one of the most powerful engines in its segment – and a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features found on every QX50 include leather-appointed seating, heated front seats, Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, RearView Monitor, eight-spoke 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a power sliding tinted glass moonroof.
Other available equipment includes an Adaptive front Lighting System (AFS) with auto-leveling headlights, Maple interior accents, driver's seat headrest coat hanger, Bose® Audio System with 11 speakers, Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) with Plasmacluster® air purifier, power up-folding 2nd row seat and 19-inch wheels and tires.
Available technology includes the INFINITI Navigation System, Blind Spot Warning (BSW) system, Around View® Monitor with Front and Rear Sonar System, Lane Departure Prevention system (LDP), Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), Distance Control Assist (DCA) and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning.
