Along with the new extended wheelbase version, there is a wide range of enhancements to the standard 2015 INFINITI Q70 – starting with updated exterior styling and the addition of several of INFINITI's pioneer technologies, such as Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) and Backup Collision Intervention (BCI).
The Q70's revised exterior includes new front and rear fascias, new grille design, INFINITI signature LED headlights, LED taillights, LED fog lights and side rearview mirrors with integrated LED turn signals. The optional Sport Package also receives new sport front and rear fascias. In addition, three new exterior colors have been added for 2015: Hermosa Blue, Chestnut Bronze and Graphite Shadow. A special premium Pearl finish is also available with the Moonlight White exterior.
The 2015 INFINITI Q70 also includes revised interior content and trim, with leatherette replacing leather-appointed seating on base Q70 grades. Other changes include revised 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel designs and the availability of Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection (MOD) and Forward Emergency Braking (FEB).
Both the 2015 Q70 3.7 and Q70 5.6 models are offered with rear-wheel drive or INFINITI's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. The Q70 3.7 features a 330-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, while the Q70 5.6 offers a 420-horsepower 5.6-liter V8. Both engines feature INFINITI's advanced VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) system and all models are equipped with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission.
A special Sport Package, offered on both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models offers sport-tuned suspension, Sport Brakes, 20-inch wheels and tires and more.
The 2015 INFINITI Q70 also remains a showcase for INFINITI's advanced, user-focused technologies, including an INFINITI Drive Mode Selector, a four-mode driver-selectable control of throttle and transmission mapping that helps optimize vehicle performance; Active Noise Control, which reduces undesirable engine harmonics, providing a quieter cabin; Blind Spot Warning (BSW), which helps alert the driver if another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area; Blind Spot Intervention® (BSI) that, in addition to the Blind Spot Warning, helps the driver return the vehicle back toward the center of the lane of travel; Eco Pedal, which provides driver feedback to encourage eco-driving behavior; and Active Trace Control, which adjusts engine torque and utilizes braking at each of the four wheels to help enhance cornering performance.
